Shampoo
Take a bowl, large enough to fit your doll’s hair. Now, make a solution using cool water and a mild shampoo meant for babies. You can also use mild dish soap.
What You Need
- Cool water
- Mild shampoo Or dish soap
- Baking Soda
- Comb
To remove the nasty smell from the hair you can add a tsp. of baking soda to it. Now lather the mixture properly into your doll’s hair and leave it in the solution for 30 seconds until the hair is completely drenched.
Detangle gently using your fingers by tilting the doll around. Now soak the hair in the solution for 15 more minutes. You can place the doll in such a position so, that you don’t have to hold it through the entire procedure.
After 15 minutes rinse the hair properly with clean, cool water. Make sure the lather does not go into the eyes or face of your beloved baby doll. Tape the eyes using a cotton ball to prevent the water from going into the eyes. You can take them off after the procedure.
Now dry the hair using a towel and gently squeeze out the extra water from the hair. Avoid twisting or rubbing as some hairs may get pulled off.
