From late-June to late-August, the Farm is home to over 500 campers, entering first through tenth grade. Donning their Farm Camp Tees, they are milling around the woods, pastures, field and greenhouse learning how to be stewards of our land and good food citizens. Campers become a part of daily life on the farm. Groups help collect eggs, harvest veggies and move the sheep, as well participate in hands-on, culinary and creative activities that connect them to food, farming and nature.

SBC will be offering 100 camp scholarships this year through the Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow school district, Ossining school district, Bronx Compass High School, Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School, and Open Door Family Medical Center in Ossining. A scholarship set up by the Barstow family in honor of their son Robert H Barlow II is also awarded to a Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow student each summer. If your child is a student at one of these schools or a patient with Open Door and you would like more information, please email farmcamp@stonebarnscenter.org or call 914 366 6200 x111.

Thank you to all our generous Farm Camp Scholarship Fund donors and supporters. If you would like to make a contribution to our scholarship fund, click here.
